MEG FRANCES





Meg Frances was born in Houston and raised in Rowlett, Texas. She has been writing poetry since she could scribble on the backs of school paper. As an adolescent, she often performed at local open mic events in the Dallas/Fort Wortharea. With the onset of the Iraq War, Meg became politically active. She has been heavily involved with progressive campaigns on a variety of issues, focusing mainly on environmental justice and human rights.  She recently graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in Anthropology.
