How do I submit my manuscript?
-We are currently not accepting unsolicited submissions at this time. However, if you would like to apply for a submission invite you may do so. More information can be found here.

Where are your titles available?
-You can check the availability as well as where to purchase a specific title by visiting our catalogue page here and selecting the title you are interested in. For information on wholesale orders please contact our distributor Ingram.

Does the Desperanto online shop ship anywhere in the world?
-Yes. You can visit our online shop here for more details. Also, for those outside of the US you can find our titles from various online retailers such as Amazon CA, Amazon UK, Amazon France and many more. Feel free to contact us here and we'll gladly help you find what you're looking for. 

Why are there price differences between various retailers such as Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, etc.
-Our titles are made available via wholesale through Ingram and various others which allows a retailer to either offer a special discount and/or list their own selling price both of which we have no control over. 

When was Desperanto started?
-It was started in late 2003 with the first book published in January 2004. You can read more about Desperanto here.

How many titles do you publish a year?
-There is no set limit and it can vary year to year though we are selective on what we publish.

What types of books do you publish?
-We publish various types of work such as poetry, short story collections, novels and novellas. We do not publish religious works, how-to guides, children's books or coffee table/picture books.

What book formats do you publish?
-We currently publish in paperback and ebook (Amazon Kindle) formats. We do not publish chapbooks.

How do I know which edition a certain title is? (ex: first, second, etc.)
-In most titles there is a numeric code made up of 7 or 8 digits (depending on the month) that appears on the copyright page. (Example: 0162010. 01 would be the edition, 6 would be the month and 2010 would be the year of publication.) Titles published after August 2010 will list the edition such as "First Edition, etc. along with the numeric code.

Can I submit my photography work for possible cover art consideration?
-The only photography work that would be considered for possible cover art use would be for the Bound By The Secrets anthology series. If you're interested please contact us for more information.
